超旅程未來媒體藝術節

藝術與科技整合的時代不但來臨，並已成為當代文化藝術的重要領航方向，國立臺北藝術大學為
發展此一全球性趨勢，於1992年成立全臺第一個相關領域的「科技藝術研究中心」，為擴大研究
發展範疇，於2006年更名為「藝術與科技中心」，並扮演臺灣在藝術與科技領域的開發整合，以
及與國際多項聯結的重要角色。
中心下設多個實驗室（現有「未來聲響實驗室」、「感知介面實驗室」、「超領域媒體實驗室」），除積極推動臺灣數位科技在藝術領域之前瞻性研究與創作，主要目標乃充分支援科技藝術展演活動與聯結平臺，帶動臺灣科技藝術相關研究與創作；無論是在數位典藏、數位互動藝術創作、數位技術整合應用開發、聲音藝術或跨領域新媒體整合等面向，皆有極優秀的成果，包括2009年參與策畫台北數位藝術節、2010年為廣達電腦策畫「廣藝數位表演藝術節」、「超響」聲音藝術現場表演、原創新媒體劇場「萬有引力的下午」等大型節目。本中心不但是臺北藝術大學的重要特色之一，更試圖創造藝術與科技相互交融的全面性跨域發展，開創「未來藝術」的新可能。
Not only has the era of the integration of art and technology arrived, it has already become an important guiding force for the direction of modern culture. In order to develop this global trend, in 1992 this university established Taiwan’s first "Research Center for Technology and Art" in order to help expand the scope of research and development being done in this field. In 2006, the name was changed to the Center for Art and Technology. The center continues not only to foster development and integration in the fields of art and technology in Taiwan, but also to play an important role in many international associations.
The center consists of several laboratories (including the "Trans-Sonic Lab", "the " Ta n gib le In ter fa c e Lab", and the "Trans-Disciplinary-Media Lab"). In addition to actively promoting forward-looking research and creativity in in the field of digital technology in Taiwan, our main goal is to fully support exhibitions and activities as well as sharing platforms related to art and technology in order to promote related research and creativity in those areas in Taiwan. This center is not only one of the most important features of Ta ip ei Na tion a l Un iv er s ity of th e Ar ts , it en dea v or s to dev elop a comprehensive, cross-domain blending of art and technology which might create new possibilities for "future art".
