奇米拉之歌

作品以「奇米拉」為命題，暗喻生物物種「人」已成為有機與無機的嵌合體，而數位工具儼然已成為身體的一部份。真實記憶與數位記憶，在虛擬與實體空間互滲交融，成為具演化繁衍能力的混種機體。當觀者帶著奇米拉離開展場訊號領域，將接收到奇米拉世界的呼叫，要求加入一起唱歌，共同創造奇米拉之歌。
The main topic of this work is the chimera. It is a metaphor for the human species having already become chimeras of the organic and virtual – digital tools have become a part of our physical body. Real memory and digital memory mix and blend within hypothetical and real space to become a hybrid entity with the ability to evolve and reproduce. When the viewer with the chimera, leaves the display area where the signals are transmitted and activates the application, the call of the chimera’s world is then received. It creates the voice of the chimera. One can even go the next step and sing along, co-creating the song of the chimera.
